There is no denying that dogs, when left to their own devices, will play happily and do the most extraordinary things. The real surprise is that people who do not like dogs will never witness these scenes even if they are enacted right in front of them because these people seem to have a blindness where the wonderful nature of dogs is concerned. It was this thought that provoked me into beginning a series of pictures that might force these unfortunate people into viewing the mysteries of cute canine character without having to put themselves out. They were first exhibited at the UKRCB Annual Symposium on the Psychology of Canine Behaviour in Loughborough in 2002.
As the subject matter was treated as 'natural' behaviour, the theme of nature was carried into the 'mount as part of the image' by incorporating little bugs or bits of scenery outside the 'picture' area. This collection of eight images is available as a set or individually.
The (photographic)
prints (12"x10") are produced only to a limit of 25 and each is signed by the artist.
Though supplied in a frame for ease of presentation, the frame is considered
to be of little value and should be replaced upon receipt to something more
suitable in quality and design to reflect the quality and value of the photo-art
prints themselves.
